I believe in Cadel. Cleared or not, Contador is hinky given the reports that there have been phone calls about his reports to Dr. Fuentes of Operacion Puerto fame. And what to say about Levi? I want to see an American do well, but Discovery is dirty somehow. There is something up with that program...I just don't know what it is. Oh well, tt showdown, should be a good one.

Why do say something is "dirty" with Discovery? Is it their success?
So far everyone you've picked since you started the blog has been tainted by scandal. Cadel is doomed! (just kidding)
Discovery shopped, bought, and paid for dirty riders.
An act that saw their censure by the team union.
The irony is in the words of Marc Madiot and the convieniant avoidance of Kim Andersen's one time lifetime ban from pro cycling.
They all have taken something. I forgive the riders who don't admit a "boost" to get them through a bad spot. I don't forgive the complex and systematic doping programs instituted by teams in order to maintain a dynasty.
Postal produced Hamilton and Landis, two convictied (WADA) dopers, who are currently serving bans. Are they quilty? I didn't see them dope. I wasn't there.
With the testing methods closing resembling a juniior high chemistry experiment, no one knows for sure.
But when someone who loves the sport as much as Shawn does....and I do has a horrible gut feeling that someone is dirty--an opinion that in no way helps the sport --then you can bet it's not the success that draws suspicion...it's the lack of positive tests in the team coupled with their success.
Ramble complete. Go Cadel go.
Previously you posted about a team that was imposing strict- year round dope testing on their own riders. Which team was this and how did they fair in the tour?
The team with arguably the best anti-doping measures in place is Jonathon Vaughter's Team Slipstream. They are aiming for a wild card selection in the 2009 TdF.
